Natural remedies for dark circle


People with dark circle tend to have a higher rate of erythema and melanin and reduced dermal thickness. Not only have increased inflammation and increased skin pigment melanin but they are more obvious to have a thinner skin layer.

Dark circle and eye bags are a fairly common cosmetic problem that can make us look older.



Fatigue and insomnia may be key reasons for the occurrence of this condition, may be more evident in people with darker skin, because the  pigmentation is higher also in very thin people because they lack infraorbital fat, the senior age and those who abuse the sun exposure causing  dryness around the eyes and loss of collagen and elastin.

There are diseases that cause excessive itching and rub our eyes can irritate the delicate skin around.

Prepare relaxing chamomile tea compresses, tea is prepared with hot water, let it boil for e few minutes and  let the tea cool, dip two cotton balls in the tea and apply over the eyelids closed for 10 to 15 minutes.

Slices cucumber: Place a cucumber in the fridge, let cool, then cut into slices and place on closed eyelids for 10 minutes, always put the cold slices. Cucumber is moisturizing and refreshing.

Sliced potatoes: Wash and peel the potatoes, cut into slices and apply on your closed eyelids for 10 minutes. Potatoes have refreshing properties and relieves  eyelids.

Honey compresses: Dilute 2 teaspoons of honey in half a cup of warm water, soak cotton balls in this preparation and apply compresses to your eyelids for 10 minutes. Finally remove with cold water.

Milk: In a glass of cold milk dip cotton balls in it. Once soaked compresses applied on the eyelids and let stand for a few minutes and then rinse with cool water.

It is also important to include vitamins trough diet or tablets preferably containing vitamin K to promote blood flow.

The use of moisturizing oil will be helpful. It is very important use daily to achieve more hydration.


Castor Oil is applied on the affected area gently with the pad of your ring finger.
